Latest Table

I threw this table together for a change so thought I'd share. I will be trying to come up with a new LEVI one so it will be gone before I have time to tweak. Hope your ready for another table to look at.

Punk

Still loving my S & P shakers and veg. dish. Please bear with me on that one. They are the prettiest crystal and I haven't gotten enough of them.LOL

I've had this Indiana green dish for more years than I can remember. Don't know why I kept it over alot of things I've given up. I had it filled with potpourri sitting on one of my headboards in the BR.

My doilie was made for me a few years back by one of my friends and I've always cherished it knowing all the work that went into it.

    Punk,

Your table is lovely (very interesting wine goblets), but the thing that really caught my eye is your dollie. She is incredible! She has such beautiful, delicate features. Is her body a glass container of some sort?

Punk...this is so lovely. I can see you using your crystal pieces again..too pretty to put away.
I think that lace doilie is just beautiful..what a wonderful gift.
The Indiana Green dish is very unusual. I'm not surprised that you've kept it. Did the Doll topper come with it? She's a lovely piece too.
I can't get over how you 'Throw Together' these tables so easily now...HA! I remember not too long ago, you said you would NEVER be able to to it...Look at you now, 'An Ole Pro' !!

OA is right, that doll is incredible. And your table is so pretty. As for your crystal gifts, I'm so glad you are enjoying them. Use them whenever you can.

"Threw together" turned out just lovely, Punk.
Nice combination in colors and your doilie is stunning!
I can't imagine how long it took to create. What a great friend.

punk ... love the color combos here...your dark greens & gold & crystal ...and the lovely crocheted cloth. This is a pretty table...enjoy! TFS! Jeanne S.

Thanks OA, the wine goblets were DM. The doll is just a head so I turned the bowl upside down to get a different look. It must of worked.lol I've had her and the bowl for probably 30 years.

Thanks Jane, The doll and bowl were purchased separately. I just went to the bedrooms and ended up grabbing them so I could add to my green and gold table.

I just went in to my utility room and realized I still have the other gold dishes that I was planning to add to that table and now I've changed it out. I have a hard time keeping up here.

Karen, thanks, I'm so glad all of you like the gold lady. I bought her because I thought she was pretty and I think she survived this long because my BR is gold and black and that's her home.haha

Milosmom, thank for your sweet comments too. This was a fast thrown together table so glad everyone is enjoying it for a change. I may go back and try again with all my dishes this time.

Jeanne, glad you like the colors too. Isn't it funny how we all have our favortite colors? I'm not always sure what to put together but hopefully I can stick around long enought to figure it out. I can hardly wait to go YS and get things for my tables this summer.

Punk, I think you have a natural "knack" for doing tables, and you have lots of pretties to include in them. I love crocheted doilies too, so nice to see you using yours. I'm so glad that this forum has opened up a whole new area of creativity for you. I know we are all enjoying seeing your creations. ;o) Luvs

That looks lovely! The doll is fabulous!

Luvs, thank you, I don't know if it's a natural "knack" but I grew up around them. DM was a wonderful entertainer.

Thanks to you for bringing me over here and thanks to all of you for teaching me what it takes to make a pretty table. I do know that I enjoy being here with all of you too.

Kathleen, glad you liked my table and the doll. I think it may of been one of your tables that inspired me to use gold and green on it. I always love seeing your tables. I need to go find your blog and check it out.

LOL Punk, you *just* threw that together did you! ;-) You are amazing! I noticed your green stemmed wine glasses immediately as we had those in Europe but they didn't have the gold trim. The plain ones are very common there but I don't remember seeing the ones with gold trim until recently when I found one at a yard sale here. It's a nice momento for me tho and I should try to figure out how I can use it in a tablescape.

I think you've done a great job of choosing colors. The doll is an unusual centerpiece but very effective. I like the green bowl also - matches the wine glass stems perfectly.

Pretty table, Punk! I like the combination of gold, green & white a lot. Your goblets are German, I believe. My brother sent some just like them to my parents when he was stationed in Germany 30 years ago. Aren't they lovely? I really like how you've added your large, handmade doily to the center of the table, too.

punk & lynn...I am so amazed at the "connections" on this site...that same green goblet is in my DH's hutch downstairs in the family room...we brought home a set from Germany when stationed there from 65 -67...one survived all these years! Thought it was so cool when someone showed me how you take your finger wet with wine or whatever & rotate it around the top edge of the goblet & hear it "sing!" LOL! Jeanne S.

Luckygal, I hope I can find some more glasses at a yard sale! You seem to find the best dishes while shopping. I'm thrilled if I make it to two a year. Funny that my little doll made such a statement. Must be why she's still with me.

Lynn, thanks for the info on the glasses. I have some smaller ones I'll post and see if anyone can tell me more about them.

Jeanne, I only have 3 so could I have yours?LOL These were my DGM and so were the ones I mentioned above. I'll post a picture of them as soon as I have time. Now I'm going to have to try the wet finger trick. Hope I don't end up with 2.haha

Thank you all for your comments. Punk
