I didn't think about fridge drawers. I don't see where they would go. The peninsula is too narrow and has cabinet doors on the eating side. The wall opposite the sink would work. The good point: Fridge Snackers and Grazers are out of the work area when the chef is creating. Bad point: I like my Fridge close to the stove. In this arrangement if you are stirring something and have to grab an item out of the fridge, the pot might boil over while you marched around the island...(tee hee)
