Second guessing my tile choice.

Usually, I see bathrooms with the tub surround and bathroom walls tiled with the same tile, but that's not what I decided to do, and I guess I'm second guessing myself.

I will be putting 4 x 4 cream travertine look tile 42" up the wall in the bathroom, with a slightly darker 12 x 12 floor tile.

The bath/shower surround will be white ceramic subway tiles. This is both for budget reasons, and because I like the look of the tile and tub being the same color. I also like the idea of using a matte and a shiny finish vs. all matte, or all shiny.

Also, the vanity top is cream with a white undermount sink.

Opinions on this look(pics below)?

I also just made the monumental decision to go with chrome fixtures instead of the satin nickel fixtures I originally thought I wanted. When I looked at the satin nickel at the store, it just looked like a 'dead' color to me.

I had been agonizing over the finish on the fixtures for months, thinking chrome wouldn't look good with my mirror. But that's too bad, cause I'm poor! LOL.
