Dottieq:
How has that Cuisinart microwave worked out for you?
I only have 21" in width in my under counter cabinet, and I think that one would fit. I know it is cheap in price, but is it so chincey that you would not recommend it?

I bought mine at BB&B with a 20% off coupon. I didn't want to spend too much money on a microwave because I consider them short-term investments. In my house they only last about 5 years. I like it just fine and really like the looks of it.

Thank you so much dottieq! I followed your advice from another post you made on this and got it at BB&B with the 20% coupon. You saved me 30 bucks! It fits in perfectly, almost looks built-in, because I have a 21" opening in my Kraftmaid 24" base/microwave cabinet, and the width of this unit is 20.5". I just used it and it is very, very quiet compared to my old Sharp. The stainless steel interior looks nice and will definitely help with the awful task of wiping out the micro when you spatter something in there.

Speaking of Cuisinart, I just got the Cuisinart 12 cup thermal coffee pot as well, and I have to recommend that too. It keeps the coffee hot for a few hours without tasting burnt, at all. My other small appliance on the counter is the Kitchenaid Pro coffee grinder which is another winner.
I have gotten some great advice on this forum for all my appliances.

heri cles...Glad you are pleased with the microwave. It really is easy to clean up. Love the stainless steel interior. I bought one of those plastic microwave covers because DH is too lazy to cover plate with plastic wrap and have found this to be a big help with clean-up also.
