Are you looking for something that will do the scrubbing for you? I would go to or call a store that sells your product and ask them.

I don't know what my shower and tube inserts are but I have used soap and water and a wash cloth on them all with no problem. It is only when I let the tub sit after using bath oil that I have a problem cleaning it. I have stopped using the bath oil.

I got an acrylic tub 2 years ago and am still not
sure what works best. I was surprised that the
manufacturer, store, plumber, and online
advice were also unsure and couldn't make
recommendations. At first I tried Barkeeper's
Friend powder cleanser, but very carefully.
Even though it has a great reputation for not
scratching, I was concerned that repeated use
might eventually compromise the coating on
the tub. Later I found Barkeepers Friend
Spray + Foam cleanser and that seems to do
the trick, but make sure you rinse well - it
has a slippery residue. One thing is for sure,
passing a washcloth over this type of tub
does nothing.

Ugh! I love love my Bain Ultra air jetted acrylic tub, but, knowing exactly what to use to clean it has been nearly impossible. Calling the company, they tell me a "non abrasive cleaner". My favorite cleaner, Scrubbing Bubbles, is abrasive. I've looked and looked at the labels on cleaners and can't find one that is safe. They did give me a couple of suggestions (can't recall what they were) but my local stores didn't have them. Now, for what I KNOW works and is made for acrylic....Gel Gloss. I find it at Lowes. It's a lot of work and with my back problem, I can't do it anymore. With Gel-Gloss, you spray it, let it sit, wipe clean, let it dry and then buff. You'll get a spectacular glossy finish! Tub stays cleaner longer too. Wish I could still use it. From the website:

American Standard , who makes tubs told me to use Liquid Spic & Span. I suggest you call the

manufacturer of the tub.

The condo I used to live in had a new acrylic tub and surround. I had always used foaming bathroom cleaners. In hindsight, it started to look dull right after I started cleaning it. Little did I know that the label on Scrubbing Bubbles state it shouldn’t be used on acrylic. Years later, I had sprayed some on my plastic Rubbermaid kitchen garbage can to disinfect it. Guess what? It started to melt! The chemicals in cleaners can damage surfaces! Acrylic is also easily scratched. Don’t use abrasives and avoid the foaming bathroom cleaners. I no longer have acrylic in my bathroom, therefore I can’t recommend any specific products. Good luck on your search and update us on what you find works for you.
