My Surprise!

Last Mon I awoke to kittens, I didn't even know Ms K was pregnant.

I thought I had a little time before daddy Panda got fixed.

Anyway she had 3, 1 survived and is healthy and I believe it's a female.

I've named her Spooky after my late cat that was all balk.

Ditto on what Jaybird said, every word.
Such a precious baby, tho very sad her two siblings didn't make it. Spooky will grow up very spoiled by you and Miss K tho.
Maybe when Panda goes to be fixed, might be a good idea for Miss Kitty to go too. LOL.

Its going to be lots of fun seeing kitten photos now,
enjoy your surprise and thank you for sharing with us.

hugs, Karen (who's missed your posts a lot!)

What a cute surprise! Glad both Mom and this little one are doing okay, sorry about the other two babies. Bless their little hearts. Are you saying that you hadn't noticed Miss K getting a little chubby--maybe because her being pg had not seemed plausible yet, huh?

Know you will enjoy all the baby kitten antics, keep us posted.

Have to agree with above posts. Fun to see babies in place of tables on your post. This made my night. I'll close for now. Punk

Ms. K. is a pretty thing, Jim. I love seeing her with her baby. Mine is a shedder, but I put up with his fur on everything out of love.

Show us another shot of Spooky in a month so we can see how she's doing.

Luvs - It was the strangest thing, I knew I had to get Panda fixed eventually, but Ms K would have nothing to do with him from day 1 when she came into heat and that's just the way it was.
I thought it odd, but they would actually get into fights when he approached her so after this went on for a long time, after awhile I thought them mating wasn't a possibility.

Ms K was always on the thin-side, so I was actually happy that she seemed to be putting on some winter weight.

Anyway, here's the happy family, daddy Panda is cleaning baby while mom looks on.

    At two weeks:
