Need help with living area layout

HI, We are soon to move into our newly built home and i'd like to ask for ideas with how to position key furniture. We have a young family, so i want to buy sofas for the space, but dont want them to take up all of the relatively small (and pointy) space. Any ideas on how to best use ottomans, stools, modular sofas, etc would be greatly appreciated. Hopefully you can make sense of my hand drawing with key details shown.

Not sure if you have furniture for this space or are buying new. Buy only a few key pieces of furniture. Rooms look better with less stuff. If a corner looks bare: add a large potted plant. Neutral colors: tan black, white, gray. Add color with art. DR: round table & chairs. LR: a not too large sectional in front of the TV / fireplace and a coffee table

In order to help you with your design layout, a better plan is needed, with all dimensions.

First measure the overall dimensions of your space. Then start in the corner at the front door. Measure the little space to the front door, then the door opening, then to the window frame, then the entire window, including the framing. then to the corner, and then all the way around the room. You get the idea. The reason is that the overall relationship and walk thru flow will determine the layout. I will be happy to do a floor plan for you.

Also some pics would be great. Walking into the room, looking back at the front door and any other views you feel are important.
