Did you use the manufacturer's recommended Jet Fresh? The owner's manual indicates using a liquid cleaner; with the use of a powdered detergent for some cases. Cleaners containing petroleum elements are not recommended.

You don't say why it's dirty, or what the dirt appears to be. If it's soap scum or mildew, use a sponge and vinegar, rinse thoroughly. If it's stained, then you need to know just what caused the stain since the treatment will differ depending on whether its from ink, grape juice or something else. If it's dirt, then try vinegar (the dirt is likely clinging to soap scum) and in the future insist that really dirty bodies be showered before using the zuma.

No stains, just standard build-up that is making the tub look brownish in some area and not very bright in other areas. I was concerned about using the wrong chemicals/sponges that could damage and scratch the acrylic.

The JetFresh looks like the perfect solution to get the tub back to sparkling white. I will also try the vinegar option

PS it's a Zuma tub, but also serves as the shower.

DD has a zuma which is used as a shower; says that using a top-quality squeegee immediately after every use helps eliminate scum build-up. She says that once a week, she uses 50-50 ammonia/water in a spray bottle to clean, followed by a vinegar rinse-- and be sure the ventilation fan is on, because that stuff will smell while you are using it.

ZUMA WHIRLPOOL. There is a white plastic cylinder in the middle of the tub drain. It may be part of the stopper apparatus. We can’t remove it to clear clogs in the drain. Therefore, we can’t fix a clogged drain because there is so little space between the white cylinder and the side of the drain. Suggestions?
