I believe this will be my 4th Christmas in July with QVC. I LOVE it and so look forward to it. I've also found that there are TRULY some lowest price of the season bargains. Last year I got the battery operated LED outdoor lights (LOVE THEM!) and around October I started thinking I should get two more sets. They were never as low as they were for Christmas in July, and I believe they were never offered with free shipping again either.

I agree, when they do the Free S&H you can't beat it.
I did get Valerie's icicle garland last year in the clear, with the Free S&H...and I'm sorry I didn't get two..However, I will try to be on the lookout for it this year.
I'm upset about this weekend's show though, I will only be able to watch Sat, b/c we will be leaving for vacation on Sun :( This will be the first time, I'm not 'Glued' to the TV the ENTIRE weekend!!

Did you see Target has Back in the Black Friday today. Like the day after Tgiving sales. I really didn't see anything I wanted.
So I'll check back Mon to see what everyone ordered!
I don't want to rush summer. It is hot, but winter is cold, and sooo much longer!

I agree with you on not wanting to rush into the cold of winter. As hot as it is this Summer... I'll take Summer and A/C anytime over the cold of winter. In fact, it's so much easier just dressing each morning...no heavy layers of
clothing!
We're heading up to the Cape on Sun...bringing our two older Gdsons. I had to laugh b/c the older one who came with us last year...warned his brother...'Be prepared to shop at EVERY Christmas Tree Shop on the Cape'.
He's such a smart boy !! lol

I am in the "beginning stages" of thinking about a new tree this year. I really liked the new tree from Bethelehem Lights. All of the things that bug me about setting up a tree are addressed with the new technology. So I decided to wait until they offered the November 1st shipping. Well, when I turned it back on to see if they had sold enough for that shipping date yet, they were all gone! The 6.5 ft trees are wait list only, but on tv they are actually saying they won't be available at all before Christmas, and 7 ft is just too tall for my living room. Oh well :(

I did order the Bethelem Lights sled filled with greens, led prelit, battery operated on a timer. It will be perfect for the table on my staircase landing that is by a window, but no plug.

I also ordered the Bethelem Lights pre lit battery operated garland on timer. I had purchased the garland from JC Penny's last year, but it just was not comparable to Bethelem Lights at all. I'll probably mix it in with Bethelehem Lights. The battery operated stuff from Bethelehem Lights has worked GREAT for my so far. I've never had to change the batteries, and I decorate the weekend after Thanksgiving and leave it up the mid-January.

Thanks for mentioning this. For those of us who don't have television, I am working through the 600 items on Christmas in July on QVC.com! There are some beautiful items, but after all the summer yard sales, everything looks so EXPENSIVE (lol!!!)...

I got some nifty things this summer (also been very busy landscaping) and I'll post when I finally get it together. Please everyone, show what you get at the Christmas in July! It sounds like this could become a real tradition...
