I always thought Pledge and Endust were interchangeable. I spray either on the cloth, then dust with it. Am I wrong?

If I remember correctly (IIRC), Pledge has silicone in it and Endust does not.

This is very important if you ever want to refinish or touch up your wood furniture, as silicone makes it almost impossible to get a good finish.

Endust is grease....It's OK to perhaps spray on your cloth....but I threw it away when I found my cleaning lady was spraying it on my furniture....everything looked shiny....but was greasy to the touch.
Try a microfiber cloth. Holds the dust and puts nothing on your furniture.

Thanks for the info. I clean homes and just now started using microfiber cloths alone. I guess I got used to the shine but no one's complaining. Saves me $ now too.

I've used Endust for decades. And love it. Tried other products..not as happy with result. (I was a house keeper off and on for decades too) I use mircro fiber cloths reluctantly..they are NOT good for the environment. I save the dirty ones and wash them all together with no other fabrics. I have made that mistake and they end up covered with lint. I also exclusively use them for window cleaning.

I have used dampened cloths to clean but that doesn't cut it for me..but have lived in dusty places and I wait until my dust bunnies are rabbits before I clean and in some cases the rabbits have started reproducing before I clean..so maybe that is why I need Endust? And dust 3 times a week? hahahahaha. Never gunna happen. I remember when I was told to vacuum my new carpet twice a week...hahahah Never happened.

I also cut up and use flannel pillow cases..I don't like the flannel next to my super dry skinned face. I make little bags out of them to cover the tops of those dust remover brushes for hi places..spray a little Endust (let it dry) and do the walls and ceilings..take bag off and wash and reuse it.

None of those disposable products are good for the environment..big no noes!!! Anything disposable..BOO. Diapers are wonderful for cleaning..easy to wash too!

I don't think a little grease on furniture is so bad..but again ..my cleaning habits? I love Endust.
