Breakfast outside

Hi all, I have been off work all week, for a change I did enjoy it...no doctor visits LOL

Luvs had posted a link to tea infusers, that is what I have picture in the photo, they are great, in this case though I had coffee instead of tea.

Here is a breakfast table setting just for little ole me.

Here is a link that might be useful: my blog

Judith...Oh > How > Beautiful....What a lovey way to start the day. Outside of White Ironstone, Blue & White is my ALL TIME FAVORITE ! Once again, you have turned a simple place setting for 1, into an Elegant Affair! I would enjoy starting the day with a breakfast setting, that you do ..(even if it's ONLY juice), Anytime!!
Love the flowers too...As I gaze out over my Bare Garden (Deer Salad)... I'm jealous. By the way 'Rooster Boy' did it again...he's looking Mighty Fine!! LOL
    Thanks for a nice treat.

    Beautiful Judith!!
I'm lusting after the red and white dishes like your blue and white cereal bowl.....Yikes, my cabinets are going to fall off the wall!!!
    Have a good weekend!

Jane, LOL, I shall pass on the complement to "rooster boy", now I will have to "use him" more often or he will sulk. LOL Gosh, I can't believe I don't have ANY iron stone....maybe it just goes to fast here, because I would have for sure scarffed up a bunch, meanwhile I will have to love yours and others!

Jaybird, thanks, I love the red and white too, I have a fair amount of that too, but not as much as the blue and white, hmmm, I must take a photo of the red and white dishes in the near future.

Beautiful, Judith..is that a quilt on the table?? It is just lovely.
Glad you had a week off from the doc. My good friend is going through something similar, and a week w/o docs is a GOOD thing!

Yep, an inexpensive throw quilt from TJ Max...my home away from home :)

I will keep your friend in my thoughts and prayers, she is lucky to have you as a friend (plus when she feels like eating again she will have your cooking to look forward to)!

I bought one of those throws at TJ's it was black and white toile...I brought it back, as I figured it would go with absolutely nothing I have, LOL..I didn't see that one you got, or I would have bought, (and kept) that! It really is so pretty...
And thank you for the good thoughts for my friend. She has been fighting cancer since 1999, first ovarian, then lung, and now they see something on her kidney. She also has diabetes and takes care of her 94 y o mom...husb flew the coop as he doesn't like the mom there. Really sad...but she keeps smiling, and plugging on...she's a great gal...
but the doc appts never seem to end..
My mom had a theory, go to one and they give your name to all the other docs..LOL

What a nice setting Judith! Love the blue and white and it goes well with your white wicker furniture. Your rooster looks magnificent! I don't remember seeing a "lidded cup" before - that is something DM might like as she likes her coffee HOT and is constantly microwaving even one cup.

I am happy for you that you could have a week off and be able to enjoy it...what better way than to set a nice table! Hope you get more opportunities for that in the days ahead.

Kathleen, that is so funny, I seen the black and white quilt and I definately considered buying it, but had to choose between the blue and white or it, sadly I could only purchase one. LOL

Oh my, your friend has surely been going thru h***, that is for sure. I so do understand, but she has it so much harder trying to take care of someone else too.

LOL, your mom is right about the Dr. joke, it is sooooo true!

DD, thanks, the lidded cup is from Pier One, it also comes with an infuser for tea, I just love them, cause like your DM I like my food and liquids to stay hot! Glad you like my rooster, I do have several, they remind me of my dads childhood, he was brought up on his parents poultry farm, so they do have sentimental meaning for me, especially since my dad has passed.

Well if you like that rooster you may like the one I am about to post in a minute. LOL

Judith, thanks for the info on the lidded cup as I am going to visit our DD in 2 wks and there is a Pier 1 there - I will take a look for one as a gift for DM! Off to look at your new "rooster setting"....

Speaking of roosters, I was in Homegoods yesterday and they have about four or five different ones. Of course my fav was the really big one that was over $90! LOL (No, I didn't buy one, no room to store them--but I enjoy looking.)

Also on a blog I visited, a gal actually spray painted a "not so pretty" one with white paint and antiqued it a bit--it turned out great!

Judith, I remember two of your other roosters that you did tables with around last Thanksgiving--those were gorgeous ones too.

Anyone interested in tiger/leopard or zebra print dishes? They had those at Homegoods too. And lots of Halloween things too.

All I ended up buying was a long painted canvas wall/door hanging and some fake glittered acorns that I thought would look good in one of my glass jars. Figured I'd better get them now or they would all be gone by then.

DD, they should have the "lidded" infuser tea cups there in 2 or 3 designs, I know for sure they have the blue and white, and a floral design, they are kept in the "teas" section.

Luvs, hi, hope your travels are going well. I have not been to Home Goods for a while so I am going thru withdrawals.....at least you were able to purchase some goodies.
