I have(...2 y.o. at home). The only drawback is that it is a pain to get the slipcovers back on and takes a lot of "stretching" to get them to fit properly. The cushions are not much of a problem. Sometimes I'll wash the cushion covers only, as those seem to be the parts that need to be cleaned anyway.

My slipcovers are six yrs old from Pottery Barn-I have washed them many times in my smallish Kenmore front loader. Its a wonderful thing when coffee or wine spills to just throw them in. They do continue to shrink-I probably overdry-and get harder and harder to stretch back on. These covers are to the point of needing replacement. A new set I have seemed to be cut larger originally. Makes it so easy to clean up after grandkids and grandpa!

We have pets so we have washed our sofa and chair slipcovers numerous times over a period of several years. They launder beautifully.
