Mine don't have a lot of bevels but always seem sticky and have splashes of milk on them thanks to my kids.

My sister gave me a tip that when she cleans the kitchen after dinner, she always wipes down at least one cabinet per evening. That way, they are all all pretty much getting wiped down once a week.

Since I have a lot of cabinets in my kitchen, this seems like less work than cleaning them all at once.

What do you use to wipe them with?

Usually soap and water (damp rag with tiny bit of soap) followed by dry rag; or I've tried Old English also.

okay, for the record, I looked this up in my Martha Stewart Housekeeping bible, and this is what it said for painted wood cabinets:

Wipe weekly with diluted dish soap and warm water with soft cloth; rinse with clean damp cloth; and follow with dry cloth.

apply cleaners to clothes, not cabinets, and don't use anything with oil, silicone, or wax.

Good thing I have lots of cloths! But really -- wipe everything down weekly? Gotta work on that.

How about taking a can of dust cleaner for computers to them, meant to blow the dust from here to Kingdom Come.

might be worth a try; thanks

I think cabinets are to sticky to use a can of air. Cooking especially on gas stoves leave a residue on them. I think the soap and water would be the best way.

I agree with EmmaR. Cabinets are way too sticky for compressed air. I think soap or any detergent plus warm water should do the trick but you have to do it at least twice a month to keep it cleaner that it is now. I do recommend a weekly wipedown a couple of minutes every weekend shouldn't be too much of a hassle. You won't just be cleaning it off but it will also help preserve the cabinets especially if they are wood.
