Bathroom walls - Design help

My bathroom is approximately 8' by 8'. I intend to replace my tub (about 5' x 32 ") with a tiled shower with frameless door. My vanity is about 5' wide with a 50" framed mirror above it and an overhead light above the mirror. My thought was to tile the shower to the ceiling, and to also tile all the other walls in the room. Would this look okay, or should I tile only the shower walls?

That is a small room so if you decide on tile wainscoating make careful selections of chairrail and cove base tile. If you don't pull off the right look it could look like a tile bomb shelter...

We are redoing our 6' x 9' bathroom. I chose to tile just the new shower. The floor and baseboards will be tiles. Make sure you use something other that flat paint on the walls and it will look fine. Satin? Semi-gloss?

I think if you tile the walls, you have to be careful. Were you planning on using the same tile for all areas? That might make it look too much like a gym bathroom or a public restroom.
