They have paper machie (sp) that you finish in Michaels and I saw some nice wooden or looked to be wooden in Home Goods a few days ago. They may have had some in Kirklands but can't remember.

I just remembered that I saw some in Home Depot a few days ago also.

Maybe since you are doing a rustic tree, you'd like to make these little log deers. Luvs

I don't have any of the stores except for Home Depot, I'll check there tomorrow.

The little log deer are really cute but I need something that can tuck under the edge of the tree. Small area so I used a skinny tree, just a cheap one from the Dollar Store but it really works for what I use if for.

The last few years Big Lots had the paper mache ones and you could paint them to fit your theme.

Thanks all, Big Lots is one place I hadn't thought of. Will have to check it out when I get to town. Haven't made it in yet.
