2009 Fall Decor

First I must state, I have never decorated for Fall before this year. DH doesn't quite get it. I mean I have really just got him to understand why I need over half of the storage area in the basement for Christmas decor, now this? I "think" I can store most of the Fall stuff in one big storage bin....right? Anyway, for better or worse was in our vows. I have shamelessly stolen many ideas from you all so I hope you can forgive me but you are all so talented and have such beautiful ideas and talents! Thank you again.

Constructive comments always appreciated.

    Kath,

If you got your decorating ideas from here then you followed in the right path. Your decorations are beautiful. I love your entry way. I must of looked at it for 5 minutes and then went back a few more times to see all the different pumpkins. Don't get me wrong I really like your other decorations like the tall vases with the pumpkins, etc. but that entry way is awesome.

I must say that for a first timer, you have really found some pretty pumpkins and things. Great job on your entryway, it all looks great. (And good luck getting it all in that one bin!) LOL

Nice! It always starts with one bin.

LOL, dd50 just let out our secret.
And don't forget those wonderful long, low bins that slide right under beds. My DH has NO idea how much is under the bed.

Kath, how could your DH not LOVE what you've done! I sure do!!! If he doesn't, then he'll just have to get used to it. LOL.
And remind him on the "for better or worse", things could be a lot worse. You could be out bar-hopping for instance.

    hugs, Karen

Kath, you have a beautiful home and I love your fall decore. About 10 years ago, I put a leaf garland on the fireplace on an October afternoon, and I had a couple of jack-o-lanterns for halloween, now I have 3 containers for Fall/halloween, but I think I'm through expanding there. I have however acquired fall dishes, and table linens, and I need more. BEWARE! and have fun. - Gail

I'm laughing, your hubby is in for a huge surprise, this is JUST the BEGINNING! LOL LOL

Love that dollar tree card & frame, now that's it, I keep seeing everyone using them, so I have to make myself a few fall pictures to put around! Sure wouldn't have known that is what it was, if you hadn't told us, it looks like an expensive picture & frame.

All your decor is so pretty, warm & inviting for the fall season...

Everything looks great. I love your stairway with the straw brooms attached to the railing. Great idea!

So you got your 'shameless ideas' from coming here?? That's the fun of it..! For your first time...you did a beautiful job. Everything area looks so festive. I like your DS picture in the frame. Your entry hall is so pretty, and I love the cute brooms on your stairway. Never thought of the stairs for Halloween..I'll have to remember that. I agree with everyone...1 Bin is just the Beginning. All you need is lots of places to hide...uh store them!
