My cousin got a gorgeous one at Home Depot, of all places. Look for one made of PE instead of PVC for that very realistic appearance. I've been looking for a 3' high one, without success, would love any tips (no pun intended!)

I have had good luck with my Frontgate trees. I have a blue spruce and a frasier fir and one with a small amount of flocking. They range from 2 to 6 years old and I have not had a problem with any of them. I am extremely happy with how realistic they look. They are very expensive though.

For years I have admired the Frontgate slim green spruce and one of these days (maybe an after-Christmas sale) I am going to pull the trigger and buy one, Nothing but good reviews on that one.

For artificial Christmas trees with incandescent lights, QVC only carries the Bethlehem lights brand. (which is a very good brand)

However, the bottoms of all of their 9' trees always line up to the host's knees. In other words, there is ALOT of space between the floor and the start of the tree. (unless it's Christmas eve, with oodles of presents) that is a huge open space. That is the only reason I have never purchased their trees.

Years ago I used to work at a greenhouse that carried some Bethlehem lights trees, I do remember the bottoms of the trees being very high.
