We have a Bellwether tub.It has nice lines and I think that it's pretty attractive...for a bathtub.
If I had to purchase it again I would not. The side walls of the tub seem to be extended and the drain hole is further out from the side. This requires a very long spout and may require the drain pipe to be relocated. When I look at the tub it doesn't seem to have a big capacity. I agree that the price point seems decent, but in retrospect I think that you could probably do just as well, if not better with one of the home depot brands.

I just installed the Bellwether in my new bathroom. Don't know why some people give it the thumbs down. I absolutely love it. Yes, did have to install a longer spout, but that is one inch difference. Not a big deal. It is lower than some of the other models, but that is what I needed, having problems getting into my higher tub before. Despite that, it holds more water then similar models from Kohler.

Liz, the bellwether used to be just as Doug54 describes, with a bump in the front that necessitated an extra-long spout. They added a redesigned model a couple of years ago. Note that this thread is 6 years old.
