I would not do full glass across 118 inches unless you are sure about splash control, cleaning tolerance, and where the fixed panels and door seams will land.

On a shower that long, a pony wall with glass above or beyond it can keep the room feeling open while still giving you a better place to stop overspray and handle real-world framing variation. If you want the cleaner open look, I would think about one larger fixed panel with the entry placed where you naturally step in, rather than several narrow glass pieces.

From a production and QC perspective, I would also decide early where the glass hardware, curb slope, niche locations, and showerhead spray pattern will land. Those details usually determine whether an all-glass layout feels clean and intentional or starts to feel cold and high-maintenance. If privacy and daily cleanup matter, the low-wall option is often the safer middle ground.
