Bosch Tassimo T65 Coffee Maker

I know this forum is geared toward larger appliances, but I was wondering if anyone has tried the Bosch Tassimo T65 single serve coffee maker which uses T-discs. I read some reviews on Amazon but they really sound canned.

Thanks

My daily driver is a stovetop Bialetti, but here are my two cents. For 'pod' coffee makers, my friends like their FrancisFrancis machines, which use Illy pods only.

For regular old espresso machines, my in-laws like their Rancilio Silvia.

To me, Bosch is over there with Krups and Breville: nice enough, but spend a little more and you get a LOT better machine (like a Gaggia, low-end Saeco or Rancilio).

In any case, enjoy your coffee!

I LOVE my Tassimo and enjoy a latte from it every morning. I am not a huge coffee connoisseur, so for me, it is worth every penny. My husband drinks coffee from it on week-ends, and doesn't mind it either. I say go for it, if you aren't looking to spend a lot of money and want the luxury of at-home-lattes, and other drinks! (I will add that I used to have an espresso machine, w/ milk steamer, and while I enjoyed drinks from that, I much prefer the Tassimo, for the simple fact that set-up and clean-up is MUCH faster!)

Love my Tassimo also. I have an older version but same thing. We had a Kuerig at work and I just didn't like the selection of coffees as much plus, NO lattes which was a drawback. I've never had any problems with the Tassimo and I've had it for at least 6 years or so. Only small issue is finding the lattes these day, used to be able to get them at Target for a great price but you still can at the website and some other stores (tho, a bit more money) so no big deal.

I've been using a T65 since last November. Got it at Bed, Bath & Beyond with a mail-in-rebate. I mostly use it for Cappuccino and Lattes. I've tried a few different disc brands, and found the Maxwell House Cappuccino (from wal-mart) to be better than the Starbucks and Gevalia cappuccino. For the latte, I get the Twinings Chi Tea Latte, but can only find that at BB&B. I wish there were more bands and variety in the local stores, so I'll have to try some new ones by buying on-line.
