My 23 year old microwave bit the dust and I am in need of a new one. My criteria is that is must be BLACK, LARGE, NOT CONVECTION and able to be built in. I am interested in either the Sharp R520LK, GE Profile or Kenmore. I only need the microwave for cooking vegetables, baked potatoes, reheating, defrosting, and popping popcorn. I've looked at Consumer Reports, and they say Sharp has a history of repair problems; but give them a fairly good rating. I also read somewhere (perhaps here @ GW) that the GE Profiles are also prone to trouble.

I would appreciate some feedback as I'm tired of living without a microwave!
