Hey Bill

We were starting the wall tiles in the shower/bath and we are using 12x12 tiles. Well due to the niche's and all the seams we do not have a completely level flat surface to tile on. When I put the first tile up of course it was not level and didnt even meet the morter in the center of the tile. Seems as though we need to feather out more thinset on the backerboard to make a smoother surface. We are starting that now but could use your expert opinions on how to do it right. we are "do it yourselfers" and have done many tile jobs but this is our first shower/bath surround.

Bill I will be emailing you our phone number.. If you can call (even collect if you prefer) and chat with my hubby that would be great!

Thanks so much..
