My brickwork is now about 5 years old. For the daylight basement side, the brickmasons cut bricks under the window and door lintels, resulting in wide mortar joints at those places. I now know that they used a spray-on adhesive and brick dust to hide the wider mortar joint under the lintel ends. That is now all weathered away. To try to hide it from being noticeable from a distance, what is the better method? A bit of reddish latex paint? Other suggestions?
