How about a local picture picture framing place? They should be able to supply and cut mirror glass, and you should be able to find a picture frame with a look and wood type you want, which you can stain. I did a mirror like this once. There amy be cheaper options out there, but I'm just throwing that out as one idea.

Some hobby stores (like Hobby Lobby or Michaels) sell empty large wooden frames. They often have a 40% off coupon too. You could then go to a local glass place or even a Lowes or Home Depot type and get glass cut to fit.

I wasn't sure what we'd have for the vanities etc... so I ordered frameless beveled edged mirrors. The master has them as medicine cabinets over each sink. The boys bathrooms have them as just flat wall hung mirrors.

Is your cabinet guy making the vanities, or are you buying cabinets? If it's the latter, just get trim pieces of wood from the cabinet manufacturer in the same wood and the same stain as your cabinets. Mount the mirrors to the wall, then have your installer miter the wood trim and mount it to the wall surrounding each mirror.

We're at the point of having our cabinets stained and want them to also stain moulding to frame the mirrors as well.

Please tell me or show me your wood framed mirrors-- ** I'm specifically looking for large mirrors (about 5 ft) with a wood "picture frame" 3.5" moulding.

I found the cheapest mirrors to be at lowes ( bought 36 x 42) about $30? and the framed them at Aaron Bros ( same company as michael's)They have more of the thicker moldings. I used a coupon and the framing came to be about $200? I think? I will try to show a picture when I can. It's still expensive but looks great. Good luck with your cabinet guy.
