    Hi brooklynite:

If you do a search on "francoise47 bosch" you'll find one or two posts I've made about my experience with the Bosch Linea 800 counter depth side by side. We've had it a year and couldn't be more delighted with it. It is virtually silent, has a great configeration of space (from my point of view), has a perfectly consitent temperature and keeps fruits, vegetables and dairy longer fresher than any frig I've ever had. Oh, and not unimportant, it looks fantastic. I love the clear, cool interior halogen lights. I looked at a lot of refrigerators, thinking I wanted a french door. But I ended up liking the Bosch s by s the best and am very happy I chose it. At Sears last summer, with rebates it cost about 2,000 dollars, making it sort of a "mid range" counter depth frig. (Unbelievable how much you have to pay for counter depth!) The only problem I had was with the water flow for the filtered water. And that ended up being something my plumber did wrong on installation which is now fixed.

As you know from Consumer reports, Bosch gas ranges get very good reviews.

Well, I hope that they are good...

I just pulled the trigger on my new kitchen appliances. Among them are a Bosch Dual fuel slide-in range and Bosch Axxis washer and dryer. The kitchen won't be complete until mid-September so I won't be able to begin to comment until then. If there are problems, I will post them.

We have a Bosch 36" gas cooktop and it it works great - we replaced a flaky Fisher & Paykel cooktop that was driving us nuts...

We also have a Bosch Convection oven (older model HBL645UC) that works great and has never had a problem - The only thing we feel is missing on this oven is a door lock (to keep our little one from opening it)

Our Bosch Downdraft also works very well. We are working on building a new home and will look to put several Bosch units in this home based on our experience with the products we have used.

Bosch appliance have the worst customer service ever!! 7th technician and they still haven't resolved the issue . We want a new induction oven and they refuse to rectify the issue!!!

I agree. Unfortunately our builder put in Bosch appliances and we are having problems with everything except the range and hood. It has been several months and still no resolution. I have invested so many calls, emails, appointments...I post this only in the hopes I can save someone from this frustration.

Don’t both doors open/close independently of the mullion regardless of which you open first? I am right handed, my husband is left handed and we both open whichever side we need first. If it’s milk, it’s the right door, if it’s a stick of butter, it’s the left. No alarms, no retraining.

No. Only the left door opens independently. The mullion is attached to the right door, so if you open just the right door, the mullion brushes against the left door almost forcing you to open the left door to avoid the mullion getting stuck or damaged. When you go to close the door, you have to close the right door first too, otherwise, the mullion can get stuck again causing the doors not to close properly. Hence, the alarm.

Where do I get replacement door shelves for my Bosch side by side.

    They don't seem that sturdy.

As I've had to glue one back together already.
