Just beautiful! Enjoy your lovely new bath!

Gorgeous! I particularly like the sconces.

    Beautiful bath!

I'm hoping mine turns out that way, too! Using similar travertine, chrome fixtures, painted vanity, too (but slightly darker).

Thanks for posting -- the contractor was here to measure again today -- and I'm getting cold feet over my design choices -- your post was great to see.

    Thanks, Pete

After seeing your post on the Kitchen forum, I was afraid to open this one for fear I'd pass out....:) Gorgeous!!!! You have superb taste!

    Beautiful bathroom!

My hats off to your crew. The tile install looks "Killer" and all your trades did a great job.

If you send me a close up picture of the electrical plates I bet the screws on the cover plates all point North South or East West.

Love seeing pictures like this when every Soldier Aced his/her end.

Enjoy your steamer - you most likely deserve it after the parade of work men.

Bravo!! Lovely space! All of your selections blend so nicely to give a luxurious but not busy feel to the room.

Could you tell me a bit about the tub? I'm just beginning to consider a standalone tub and was wondering why you chose Aquatic and what others you might have considered. Any problems with the install or things to be aware of. Is it a heavy tub/solid feel? I'm assuming acrylic?

    Thanks!

Just beautiful! I am taking note of your lovely tile work as we're in the planning stages ourselves. Thanks for sharing.

Very beautiful, elegant and serene! Congrats. Would you mind telling us the dimensions of your space?

    Enjoy!

Sigh. I would love to have a bath like that!

Beautiful. I could live in there.

Thank you for all the nice comments. We do enjoy the bath alot. It is very soothing and we are happy with the work done in there. Good luck to all of you who are in the planning stages!

hmsweethm: The full dimensions of the space are 14.5'x12'. The width to the entrance to the shower is 7.5'.

johnfrwhipple: Ha! Yes, I checked the screws for fun after your post and they are just as you said (though that is not the case everywhere in the house!) And yes, the steam shower is great!

gbswim: When we were looking for tubs, we knew that we wanted a pedestal style tub. This particular one was recommended because it has the air blowers rather than regular jets and has a cleaning mode after use. It is supposed to be more hygenic than other styles. We didn't really look too much at other options once we knew the features that we wanted. Yes, it is acrylic. It is very solid and comfortable.

rookie 2010: Thanks so much for the compliments! :)

What are the finishes of your lighting and plumbing fixtures?

    Gorgeous room...spectacular.

    Very pretty!

Wow...that is very elegant...love the tub. GREAT JOB!!!

What a lovely bathroom! Beautiful, soft colors in all of the finishes. Great job!

That is a wonderfully soothing look. I love how the chrome and crystal lighten up the stone look. Very classy ;)

susanelewis: The plumbing fixtures are all polished nickel, and so is the bath hardware (towel rods, etc). The sconces and chandelier have a gold finish to them. Maybe antique brass? I don't know exactly what they are but I did mix it up a bit with that. The mirrors have a silver-gold finish that helps tie it together.

I love your shower! We are getting ready to start our Master Bedroom/Bathroom/Closet project in the next month or two. I'm so excited! I want a shower like yours. Great job. Oh and I see you use Arbonne...so do I!!
