the only problem with the frigidaire is that it's not as tall as the sub zero and i think it's only 32 inches wide, but it's a lot cheaper! i'm also considering the sub zero and did some research, i've heard it's better than the GE but don't have personal experience

I am also planning to buy a 36" all fridge for our kitchen and have been looking at the Miele.

I have been thinking about this also, but I also want a small freezer and icemaker in the kitchen. All SZ puts that at a 6 figure place where I would prefer not to go!

If you have room, the Liebherr 48" with biofresh (the one with 3 temp zones and 3 doors) has a small 4.5 cubic foot freezer, almost 20 cubic feet of fridge and an icemaker, all for less than 7k. I will have a freezer in the laundry room but do want some freezer storage in the kitchen as well as an icemaker.

I guess that puts you into SZ range cost wise though!

And as far as the Frigidare, it doesn't seem to have tons of fridge space (36" SZ has almost 21, Frigidare 16.7). The height issue might be able to be solved with the optional trim kit though which would make it taller.

I bought my Whirlpool 30" fridge and freezer set over 3 years ago. I love them, and combined they were under $2k delivered. I paid extra for the in freezer icemaker with the only downside being that there is no way to get ice and water in the door.

I could not see any locally, but bought online from AJ or AC Wood (sp?, something like that) and they delivered.

Mine are white and have a nice look to them.
