Just wanted to let fellow Canadians on this site know that there are options for us when looking for lighting!! I recently used them to get a vanity light made by Hinkley. Called a local store here and they wanted $280+tax ($315 total). canadalightingexperts.com had it for $200 (about $220 Canadian) with taxes, duty and brokerage fee included. No problems at all. The light arrived with 2 broken glass shades and with one quick phone call they sent out replacements. THose arrived yesterday.

I'm very pleased with the service and more importantly, the price!! Now if other companies and services would catch on to the fact that Canadians like to shop things would be much easier.

Other than making this purchase, I am in no way affiliated with this company. Just pleased that it all worked out so easily.

thanks! I hate having to buy all my fixtures/lighting in the US (forced to as retail prices are far too high). Good to know.

Now, all I need is a Canadian online plumbing supplier...

Sent us defective fixtures that were not as illustrated. We elected to accept their offer to return them, only to find out that they will not cover the cost of return shipping, $180.00 in this case. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!

Never order anything from this company. I ordered a beautiful, expensive drum chandelier for a home renovation. It was done in advance as my contractor was not sure when it would be installed. When he went to install it we discovered that the drop was too long for the location we had in mind. We immediately contacted Canada Lighting to return it and at the same time ordered the same light in a smaller size. Canada Lighting came back refusing to accept the return as the 30 day return window was closed. They did not however have any difficulty in filling an order for the new light. So now I am left with a fixture that was out of the box for less than one hour and only handled by a licensed electrician. Never ever order from this company as they are Not a reputable company in my eyes!
