Refrigerator space issue - Guide me to the best answer!

Refrigerator depth is my biggest concern in my small kitchen...opening space in my cabinet is just 36X 72 X 24 (wall behind cannot be modified) and I need the most shallow fridge possible. Which counter depth model achieves the most built in appearance? I have recessed plug and H2O, but no space or $$ for a true built in. Configuration is not an issue nor is capacity; appearance is most important. A 30" range and DW are still open.

We chose the Kitchenaid KFCS22EVMS. It hasn't been delivered yet, but from my homework, it appears to have more interior room than many of the others I looked into (21.8 cu ft).

What about the Fisher & Paykel FD with the water on the front - it's got a very built-in sleek look. We are going with this, but don't have it yet. HAve seen it in showrooms and it looks great. Model RF201ADUX . It's 20.1 cf - not bad & it's very well laid out inside.

I have the Fisher Paykel without the water dispenser. Had it for 2+ years. Absolutely love it.

We just got our Kitchenaid KFCS22EVMS and our opening is the same except we are 73" high. There is less than an inch clearance at the top and zero along the sides.Very tight but looks great. I do worry about air circulation as this is tighter than recommended. Measure carefully.
