Looking for a soaking tub w/inline heater (no jets, no bubbles!)

Hi,

My husband and I are looking for a basic soaking tub w/inline heater which will keep the water warm for hours. But we don't like to have any jets or bubbles...

It has been surprisingly hard to find this combination (basic tub + heater). We have found only two options so far : MTI-5 w/inline heater, and Aquatic HOTSOAK.

If you know any companies who makes this type of tub, please let us know! Also I would LOVE to hear your feedback if you have MTI or Aquatic Hotsoak tubs.

Btw, our new bathroom will hold only 5' long x ~36'' wide tub.

I am looking for almost the same thing, so I look forward to some responses. I am about to settle on a 42 inch wide tub, but would rather have the 36 if I can find a deep one.

Are you looking for tub with more than 20'' deep?
So far, I found the following tubs from MTI with inline-heater options for our candidate. They are all 19-21'' deep. Since you can install 42'' wide tub, you will have more option than me! :)

Hi B,

I'll be honest...I was hoping to spend less $$$ for a basic (non-jetted) tub.

Right now there are about 3 kohler tubs that fit the specs. Lakewood is one, (there are a few variations of that tub, this is the one with the deeper overflow).

If I could get away with spending $6-700 on a tub rather than $1000, I could use that money elsewhere. FWIW, which vendor did you use for those prices? If I could find the MTIs or other for a good price I would go that route, though I would love to find something even deeper than the 15 inch overflow.

I hear you. I am hoping someone will reply with reasonable price tub w/inline heater that I haven't found. :)

Since both my husband and I like taking long bath, we figured reheating system will worth paying extra. But I agree they are expensive!!

Does Kohler lakewood has inline-heater option?? Or you are just looking for 5' long deeper tub?

In the specs for the Kohler Lakewood it does mention a heater but I don't know if that is only applicable if you get the jetted version. I was hoping to find another (deeper) option at a comparable price before I looked into it further.

I would love to hear how anyone likes these tubs, as I am looking for one now. I can go longer and my budget is a little open (new build) but this is exactly what I think I want. I take long baths for pain relief and want a rather large tub (for two at times?) since we are also giving up our hot tub. But never will I ever clean jets again! Thank you in advance!
