i know that it is a symbol of your faith, but i have always truly appreciated such likenesses for the pure beauty of their design. all Asian faiths have intricately detailed statues and i love them all and i hope to have them throughout my home, too.

One more thing, in the Holy Bible, Jesus says to find a private place to pray, this bathroom looks like a peaceful, serene, relaxing place, I find no disrespect if the owner decides to have a token of their belief in a place such as this. I think the point is being lost.

If a Hindu placed Krishna in front of this tub, that Hindu knows exactly what he/she is doing. I can't speak for the owners of this home, but I can tell you why there is no issue with this setup. For Hindus, bathing = purifying. Go to any Indian holy place by the Ganga (Ganges) River, e.g., Benares, and you will see what I mean. People often do rituals while cleansing themselves, often chanting Sanskrit slokas. Krishna is not parked in front of a toilet. He is facing the tub. Also, this is not the Supreme Being. It is a depiction of the Supreme, an idol, and a beautiful one at that. Real Hindus know the difference. From what I see, these folks are trying to create a sanctum within their home. So chill out, people.
