See that the GC/Builder gets his final check promptly with a sincere thank you a handshake and maybe a hug. Maybe a Gift Cert. for a nice restaurant for the PM.

The last 2 homes my parents built their contractor/pm actually took them out to dinner. Our landscaper did the same with us. I guess I'm not sure what the proper etiquette is. I made sure to bring them cookies/bars/coffee when they were working on our home. Maybe you could give them a bottle of wine and a nice thank you. They really appreciate public reviews. I know our landscaper got a lot of business around here because of us which is why he took us out to dinner.

I hope if I'm nice to my crew during the build, bringing coffee or donuts and treats when i can that they will work smarter for me :) don't want to say work harder, b/c I'm hoping smarter will avoid costly mistakes :) Can't wait till we get to this place in the process!

I love our builder. He is so sincere and is just so nice. I plan to give him some money/gift card. I started bringing treats and found that no one really ate them and it just attracted ants LOL.
