Caldera cooktop over wall range

Has anyone successfully installed a Caldera cooktop over a wall range in the base cabinet below? I am considering doing this in our very small kitchen with the 30" cooktop and something like an Electrolux wall oven but am worried about how well the two will physically fit together. Would love to hear anyone's success or failure story putting this cooktop above a wall range.

I had the electric, that fancy 36" semi circle thing. In less than 2 years it was Kaput.
Do check on service for the gas unit.
Warranty on my electric one was totally useless.

I as well as several others on the DW forums have the gas Caldera and are very happy with it. I have the plain 36" with the standard ignition, bells or whistles. There is essentially nothing that can go wrong with this cooktop that any appliance service for gas cooktops couldn't fix. So far I have used it very hard for 3 years and it is still going strong and perfect. I have mine over drawers and pullouts so can't speak to anything except the reliability of the Caldera gas cooktop. Good Luck. c
