I just purchased an LG dishwasher and am having major problems with it.

It seems it is not just one model but all models.

It is less than a year old and once installed it started to make a lot of noise.

The tech man came and said the motor was defective as this is a problem with LG dishwashers.

I waited over 2 months to get the new motor in as it was on back order as it seems they are changing a lot of this motors.

Once the second motor was installed and tested it made more noise than the first and now has a whistle that is so loud you can not hear the TV.

The tech person said he would order another motor but god knows how long it will take.

I bought a LG range and fridge and microwave and washer dryer all at the same time and only the dishwasher is the problem.

The other thing with the dishwasher is you can not use powder soap as it will end up in a big lump at the bottom of your machine you have to use gel soap.

The other problem is do not expect the dishes to be dry when finished as you have to wipe the water off of them when taking them out.

Just a normal wash takes over 2 hours to wash which is crazy.

Is anyone else having this problem with there LG dishwasher??
