My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

What was the total construction cost

Can I ask how much the total cost of construction was. Can you mind sharing the cost of material for this project also. What kind of sealant were used for the exposed wood. What kind of wood is it? Pine, or oak?

    The owner does not wish to disclose construction cost. All I can say is that it was close to $210/sf for the house and about $150/sf for the kennel.

    The kennels were made by a local metal fabrication company called Metalink. They mainly do custom fences and kennel enclosures, of course.

    Installation of the metal kennels was about the easiest part of the whole job. Metalink does good work and it looks sharp. The dogs appear to be happy with it too.
