I have no experience, but would guess that at worst, you burnt the existing grease, and if you can get that out, you should be fine once you add a high temp grease. This was the high temp lube that i bought. It won't survive a self clean cycle, but should work for ordinary cooking. I would take out the existing gliding racks, take it apart as much as you can, then go at it with an old toothbrush and some mineral spirits and get out all the baked on grease. Then try to lube it up and see how it goes, My guess is a replacement is pretty pricey, so you don't have much to lose.

I have that oven as well and am scared to try self-clean. My repairman (dishwasher) said to try it before it goes out of warranty. He said he very rarely sees and issue from self cleaning. I'll be sure to remove the gliding trays!

Remove ALL the racks, not just the gliding ones!

Never run a self clean cycle right before a holiday dinner. It took us a long time to cook the turkey because one of the elements blew out in the self clean cycle.
