The sink is by a company called Masterpiece Sinks. We had some problems with them (finish durability, quality control) in the past, but other designers have reported better luck, so maybe we were just unfortunate. ( One nice thing about their sinks is that you can choose your apron design from a large selection of patterns. )
For the countertops, we used Michelangelo marble, which tends to have more brown than red--although the red parts of the stone were really spectacular in this kitchen.
