My mom came up with this one! Take an old towel roll it the long way and then rubberband each end. Wrap (I didn't even sew it!) homespun fabric around it and the tie with another color homespun fabric where the rubberbands are. It is light but does the job - and a great thing to do with those old towels! You could even coordinate holiday print fabric - like Valentine's Day, St. Pat's, etc.
