Small Panasonic that is sold in Costco. Small footprint and high wattage. Stainless look.

This is by Sharp so should be good mechanically and is as sleek as I have seen. Not sure about size though!

I think you both are crazy. The Miele's magnetron is not some piece o junk third world import coming from the lowest bidder. It will last lifespan of the rest of the unit.

The miele also has minute button so put the mug in, press the minute button once (for a 30 second interval) and boom - warmer coffee.

Seems kinda silly to spend 2 grand on a microwave only to look at it, or just thaw out a casserole. Does he keep his car in the garage and walk or take the bus because driving will shorten the life of the engine - GUARANTEED !
