Dare I say!!!!!!!!!!!

The septic went in...inspection is tomorrow. Keeping fingers crossed. The A/C went in today. Can not hook it up because guess what...the electrician never showed up. Surprise Surprise! Poor guys had to work in the attic with flash lights. Wednesday the cabinets go in AND the electrician is installing on the lighting fixtures. I could laugh!! HA! I will believe it when I see that.....well you know what I am thinking! The septic guy is keeping his fingers crossed that they won't say anything about the temp electricity to the septic. We will see tomorrow at 10am. It is a new inspector. *smile* My luck! I think if the electrician does not show up Wednesday I am going to have to insist that a new electrician be brought in. I do not know what to do other wise.

The closet shelves are being put in tomorrow also (I say they are but I will be shocked if they really show up). The bank sent me our good faith estimate and I about fell over. Our closing date has been moved up to the 14th~ THAT is another story that I do not even want to think about until I have to! LOL! Let's just say, DH is worried (he always worries...money is the root of all evil) and I am heading to the wine cabinet! Hope I have something GOOD!

Will keep ya updated....I hope I have something to report in the next few days, or at least pictures of cabinets would be nice. The GC told me today the cabinet guy is starting to tick him off. LOL Cabinets were suppose to be in last week, then today and now Wednesday. We will see!

I think I'd be falling over if I had the bank tell me we were closing on the 14th. I haven't even bought light fixtures yet so I may be a bit behind! Well I've bought 2, that counts right? LOL

Sounds like you are getting VERY close, Kelly! If you are like me, you are almost too tired to be *that* excited, LOL!
I am a little behind you, and I am hoping beyond hope to get in by X-Mas. We are having 3-4 different crews here daily, so I sure hope they can pull it off!

BTW, are your floors in yet?

That sure does count! LOL! I have three more lights to pick out and then I am DONE with the lights. Matter of fact the electrician should be out there today so I have to run out there again and make sure he is putting the lights in the right spots!

Jenny - no the floors are not in yet...he has not even ordered them yet! I am freaking out about it. I am going to tell him today he really needs to order them. But there is a bunch of guys out there today working sooo.....I will bring the camera! OH, maybe even sneak a picture of my CUTE GC! LOL!

Very good news! So glad to hear there is some activity going on over at your build. Yippeee!

Our hangers showed today and worked on the 3rd floor. It's nearing completion. Yippee! And our electricians were working on power stuff to the barn. They even caught a corn snake and showed us what those look like (we're new to the south!).

Our finishers arrived to pick up a few tools and skedaddled on out of here. Apparently we aren't angry enough at them to get them to our jobsite. The boss said that "everyone is mad at us" because they are far behind. Well, we aren't mad..... just irritated. :o( Hopefully they'll show tomorrow? Then hanger said he'd probably come out in the afternoon.

Oh, our carpet store is coming out to measure for carpet tomorrow afternoon. I actually had another appt. to be somewhere at that time tomorrow, which I rescheduled. It's the only time they could come out here before holiday closing this week. I want that carpet sitting in their warehouse, so the nano-second we're ready for installation, our carpet will be ready too!! :o)

Anyway, just wanted to say I'm glad that things are getting busy over there. I'm still hoping you get to wake up to Christmas tree lights in your own home this year! ;o)
