very nice site......extremely interesting to browse the old floor plans

I lived in the first house listed - model #52 . It was a
concrete block house . My parents bought it in 1972 and it had no interior plumbing or electric . We had a well in the front yard and a 2 seater outhouse in the back . My Dad
completely gutted and rebuilt the whole interior of the house . The home is still standing right along side Rt 66 in Pontiac , Il.

Very cool. U used to live in "The Sunbeam" although I never knew that until I went through the photographs. Opened up the model, yep that is the one. I was the third owner, and it was amazingly original. You would definitely recognize it from the one-pafe advertisement (about the only change when I lived there was the sleeping porch on the second floor had been closed in as a front bedroom).

The Lewiston (Model No. P3287); ($1,527 to $2,037) in the 1927-1932 years was my home! The most quaint and comfortable home. Oh how I miss it. The previous owner was the original owner and added a large master suite off the back and knocked out the wall in the kitchen making the space open to the bedroom behind it. That area served as a family/music room with the master off there. These homes stand the test of time remarkably well.

Concord, NC (as I am sure is common in mill towns all over the south) is home to huge numbers of these homes. Browsing through the pages I saw the Magnolia - my favorite home in all of Concord right on Union Street. Now I finally know the floor plan of that house...AMAZING! Thanks for sharing Bevangel. Bookmarked that link to kill the homesickness...
