Help! What else do I need?

I just recently got the Ultimate box with a free 30 day trial of Embird. Embird trial has expired. I would like a program that I can download designs to and that will edit but I also want some digitizing. My husband says "what else have you got to have to go with this Embroidery machine." I guess I was confused too when I got the Ultimate box, I thought it would come ready to download since it does have the usb port, etc. I have the Simplicity SE3 machine, and Ultimate box. What else do I need? Help.....

He'll pay for it as long as I know what I'm ordering.....

Embird will do the downloading and editing and it's very reasonably priced (under $100). They also have a digitizing plug in that is also reasonable - around $150 I think.
