32' Philips HDTV problem

I was hoping that someone could give me a little guidance on how to fix my TV, I have no warranty for labor and fear that the repair bill could cost more than the set itself.

It is a tube type HDTV. During watching the TV and shortly after turning it off, I hear loud clicking sounds like a relay switch. As of yesterday, the green LED lights on the front began blinking constantly and the TV won't turn on (even after unplugging it for a while). When it was plugged in and the lights began blinking, I could hear a very faint relay switch clicking continuously. I called Philips and they said it was probably the power relay but unfortunately it is 3 months out of warranty, plus the repair shop wants me to bring it to them and it weighs 152 lbs. I don't have a lot of electronics knowledge but I do own a saudering iron and I learn quickly. So I'm ready to head to Radio Shack. Are there any repair manuals for these TV's available or can anyone guide me through this problem?

Thank you,

Kim
