generic aluminium foil as radiant barrier

Hi,

Has anyone used the aluminium foil from grocery store as radiant barrier? Any Pros and Cons? I know it only costs less than $50 to go with generic aluminium foil for 2000 sf. It costs about $150 to go with the construction type.
