I have a Philips 50 inch plasma TV - 50PF9431D/37B. I bought it refurbed late 2006. The TV menu periodially comes up - sometimes once a half hour, sometimes every 5 seconds.

This happens when using the direct TV or xbox. Philips support doesn't know anything about it and won't help me since I'm past the refurb warrenty. I have loaded the latest firmware a couple of times, but it did not help.
