We are invited to my sister in law's surprise 25th anniversary party at a very nice restaurant. The only problem is, there was a misunderstanding and come to pass this year is only their 24th. The people throwing the party (my husband's other sister and BIL) were already committed and have sent the invitations when they found out that it is only 24 years...They decided to go ahead with it anyway and not tell the other guests except for us. So, would you still give the 25th wedding anniversary present of something silver and say what the heck or give something generic instead?
