There are valves and then there are valves!!! If you plan a gas fireplace with a BIG flame consider your on/off valve carefully!!! I have learned some valves do not open all the way ( you would think they would?? ) and therefore you can only get 1/2 the gas that you can. Be sure and check valve types when you set up the whole system. Your fireplace store or plumber can help. Just a suggestion. Keep WARM!!
