why leave the light cords showing ?

love the over all room but one thing i see that could be neaten up is the light cords showing ...would tape them to the arm and use an extension cord behind bed so there is no tension showing.

    Normally I completely agree with you (cords are often the bane of my existence), however, these particular lamps are designed to look like vintage fixtures and have the exposed cord is a part of their design.
