I'd like to bump this thread. I saw a really cute Viewpoint contemporary group in a local store today (3940 is the style #). The prices weren't outrageous but weren't cheap either: a club chair was $1200 (not on sale). I was impressed by the finish of the leather and the substantial feel of the pieces, but I live in a little town with no access to BY, Baker, etc. as far as comparison.

Has anyone examined this stuff? Ordered it? I'd love some opinions myself.

If I recall correctly, this is a line that is mostly sold be department stores, because the stores have to purchase large quantities. Maybe thats no longer the case. They have a good reputation, but you may not get all the color options that other makes will offer. Why not look at Jaymar, Elite, Omnia, Palliser, etc?

I have a couch and loveseat set by VLW that was purchased 4 years ago and still looks & sits like new. We have 2 small children (3 & 5 years old), 2 cats and a Siberian husky that sleeps on the couch and they have held up beautifully under all the abuse. No regrets here!

Excellent couch and loveseat. I receive compliments and it's durability is almost magical considering i have four young children. The leather pillows are comfortable as is the couch. The leather is very soft and accidental spills fade into the leather. The couch includes large leather pillows that are part of the back of each couch. Four leather pillows also come with the couches giving them a put together look I haven't seen with other leather couches. They are comfortable beyond reason and the pilllows can come off making the couch into a nice single bed for a guest. It has a natural rugged look yet works well with white antique furntiture. It's the best couch I've owned and would like to locate the distributer to order more pillows.

I have had a sectional since 2006 and it is holding up excellently
