I need some advice to help me make a decision. We are in the market for a leather couch and chair. Unfortunately I cannot afford the Hancock & Moore that I would like to have so I have found a Creative Leather couch and reclining chair at a consignment store in town and they are willing to take $850 for both pieces. They didn't have any blemishes that I could see. I also found a couch, chair and ottoman on Craigslist made by Viewpoint Leather. It was a set purchased by a couple in March for $3000 but it did not fit the owner's room well. They are willing to sell for $1250 to get it out of their garage. It has never been used and supposedly has top grain leather, 8 way hand tied coils and down covered cushions.

I haven't been able to find out that much information about Viewpoint to know if I would be making a good purchase or not. At $1250 for a brand new set I guess it would be a decent deal no matter what but with my family's budget I would like to make the best purchase I can for my family. Does anyone have any thoughts on the matter to make this easier? Who knew furniture shopping could be this stressful!
